Scientists and engineers interested in

emerging S&S TS technologies will have a chance

to address both research challenges anddevelop-

ment of industrial applications. The conference

will comprise a balanced group of speakers from

industry, academia, and national laboratories.

The show is geared towards participants inter-

ested in advanced coating materials and pro-

cesses who are looking for innovative solutions

to improve coating performance in the aerospace,

energy generation (gas turbine and fuel cells), and transporta-

tion industries. As S&S TS technologies have the potential to re-

placemore expensive coating processes such as electron-beam

physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD) for deposition of advanced
