HIGHLIGHTS ADVANCED MATERIALS & PROCESSES | MARCH 2026 52 AFFILIATE COMMITTEE CHAIRS The boards of the Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society (EDFAS), Failure Analysis Society (FAS), Heat Treating Society (HTS), International Metallographic Society (IMS), and Thermal Spray Society (TSS) have appointed chairs to each of their committees for the 20252026 term. Chairs for ASM Society and General Committees and Councils appeared in the January 2026 issue of ASM News. Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society (EDFAS) Renee Parente, technology and product engineering operations director, AMD, serves as president of EDFAS. Yan Li, principal engineer, MediaTek, serves as vice president/finance officer of EDFAS. Felix Beaudoin, FASM, DMTS yield engineer, GlobalFoundries, serves as immediate past president of EDFAS and chair of the EDFAS Awards & Nominations Committee. Nicholas Antoniou, FASM, senior product management, KLA Corp., continues to serve as chair of the Electronic Device Failure Analysis Editorial Board. Navid Asadi, associate professor, director, security and assurance lab; associate editor director, MEST Center, University of Florida, continues to serve as chair of the EDFAS Education Committee. Kris Dickson, technical staff, AMD, was named chair of the EDFAS Events Committee. Vinod Narang, senior engineering manager, AMD, continues to serve as chair of the EDFAS FA Technology Roadmap Committee. Kevin Distelhurst, group leader - failure analysis engineer, Intel, continues to serve as chair of the EDFAS Membership Subcommittee.
