All appointments were unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees. Terms began September 1, 2025. Congratulations to all our ASM International leaders. Mr. Burak Akyuz, FASM, vice president–testing, Applied Technical Services Inc., continues as co-chair of the IMAT Programming Committee. Prof. Christopher C. Berndt, FASM, professor, Swinburne University of Technology, was appointed chair of the International Materials Review Committee. Mr. Rajan Bhambroo, materials engineer, Tenneco Inc., was appointed chair of the Residual Stress Technical Committee. Mr. Zachary Birky, senior investment manager, Caterpillar Inc., continues as chair of the Content and Data Products Council. Dr. James Boileau, FASM, associate professor, Wayne State University, was appointed chair of the Action in Education Committee within the ASM Materials Education Foundation. Dr. Ho Lun Chan, innovation fellow, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, continues as co-chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee. Dr. Seetharama Deevi, FASM, president, Energy, Materials and Manufacturing LLC, was appointed chair of the Technical Books Committee. Mr. Bhimsen R. Galgali, consultant, was appointed chair of the India National Council. Dr. Michael Gao, physical scientist, National Energy Technology Laboratory, continues as chair of the Alloy Phase Diagram Committee. Dr. Javad Gholipour, research officer, National Research Council Canada, was appointed chair of the Canada Council. Mr. William Jarosinski, FASM, retired director of research and development materials, Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc., and ASM Treasurer, was appointed chair of the Finance Committee.
