Mrunal Shah, Ph.D. student, University of Virginia, is appointed as a student board member and young professional member for a one-year term. ASM Failure Analysis Society Ronald J. Parrington, FASM, manager – metallurgy and failure analysis, Applied Technical Services Inc., succeeds as president of FAS, while Margaret Flury, senior principal materials engineer, Medtronic, remains on the board as immediate past president. Dustin A. Turnquist, project director, SGH, is appointed as vice president, and Beth Snipes, FASM, materials engineering consultant, is appointed as secretary. Officers serve one-year terms. Joseph Lemberg, senior managing engineer, Exponent, and reappointed Christopher J. Misorski, FASM, Brunswick Fellow, Mercury Marine, are members of the board for a three-year term.
