All appointments were unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees. Terms began September 1, 2024. Congratulations to all of our ASM International leaders! Dr. Benjamin Adam, research assistant professor, Oregon State University, continues as co-chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee. Dr. Kareem S. Aggour, principal scientist, GE Research, continues as chair of the Materials Properties Database Committee. Mr. Zachary Birky, engineering specialist, Caterpillar Inc., continues as chair of the Content and Data Products Council. Mr. Lun Chan, Ph.D. student, University of Virginia, was appointed co-chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee. Prof. Krishan Chawla, FASM, professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham, continues as chair of the Inter- national Materials Review Committee. Mr. Anil Kumar Chikkam, lead, metallurgy and corrosion laboratory, Matergenics Inc., was appointed chair of Chapter Council. Dr. Abdallah Elsayed, associate professor, University of Guelph, continues as chair of the Canada Council. Mr. Bhimsen Raghavendra Galgali, senior executive (retired), Tata Motors Pune, and independent director/consultant adviser, was appointed chair of the India National Council. Dr. Michael Gao, physical scientist, National Energy Technology Laboratory, continues as chair of the Alloy Phase Diagram Committee. Dr. Emily R. Kinser, FASM, program director, U.S. Department of Energy, was appointed chair of the Advanced Manufacturing Technical Committee.
