ASM will formally announce the 2024 Class of Fellows at the Annual Awards Banquet held during IMAT 2024, on Tuesday, October 1, in Cleveland. Following are the members recognized by their colleagues for 2024. Additional Fellows may be elected to this distinguished body in subsequent years. The solicited guidance, which the Fellows will provide, will enhance the capability of ASM as a technical community of materials science and engineering in the years ahead. Prof. Srinivasa Rao Bakshi, FASM Professor Indian Institute of Technology Madras Chennai, India For significant contributions toward the study of nanocarbon reinforced metal and ceramic matrix composites and low temperature sintering of ultra-high temperature borides and carbides using reactive spark plasma sintering. Dr. Timothy J. Eden, FASM Head of the Materials Science Division and Research Professors The Applied Research Laboratory The Pennsylvania State University State College For sustained and innovative contributions in development and tran- sition to the field of cold spray technology to support the warfighter and several industrial applications in collaboration with international researchers. Prof. Noam Eliaz, FASM Dean of Engineering Tel Aviv University Israel For foundational contributions to the science of metal corrosion and its mitigation in orthopedics, aerospace, and other challenging applications. Dr. Brenda L. García-Díaz, FASM Advisory Program Manager, Fusion Energy Savannah River National Laboratory Aiken, S.C. For the development and application of electrochemical approaches to solve materials problems in solar, fusion, fission, battery, and fuel cell applications.
