Fuller, Hannah Noll, and Lee Rothleutner to serve on the HTS Board for the 2024-2027 term. Alexandra Glover serves as emerging professional board member for the 2024-2025 term and Ryan Van Dyke was reappointed to serve as emerging professional board member for the 2024-2025 term. Ben Gwinnell serves as student board member along with reappointed Justin Smith for the 2024-2025 term. Terms begin October 1. Continuing on the board are Benjamin Bernard as president, Chuck Faulkner as vice president, Steve Ferdon as secretary, Lesley Frame as immediate past president and treasurer, Liang He, Robert Madeira, Michael Nappi, Doug Puerta, and Trisha Rouse as members. Leaving the board are Nicholas Hicks as emerging professional board member and Kiran Judd as student board member. Allen J. Fuller is manager of process quality for Amsted Rail Brenco, a manufacturer of tapered roller bearings with one of the largest captive heat-treating facilities in North America. Fuller is a past chair of the board of directors for the Center for Heat Treating Excellence at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is chairman of ASTM subcommittee A01.28 for Bearing and Power Transmission Steels. Hannah Noll is manager of internal quality at ATI Specialty Materials. Noll majored in metallurgical engineering at Missouri S&T and has enjoyed applying her education to the manufacturing environment. She has held multiple roles at ATI in product and process engineering overseeing heat treat operations, operations management, and most recently quality management including AS9100 and NADCAP compliance. Lee Rothleutner manages the materials research and development department for The Timken Company. He leads Timken’s corporate material science technology platform, which includes over 30 active projects ranging from heat treatment process development and steel alloy design to coatings development and additive manufacturing. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in metallurgical and materials engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Alexandra Glover is an assistant professor in the materials science and engineering department at the Michigan Technological University. Prior to Michigan Tech, she was a research and development engineer with Sigma Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Glover received her B.S. in materials science and engineering at Michigan Technological University, and her Ph.D. in metallurgical and materials engineering from Colorado School of Mines studying with the Advanced Steel Processing and Products Research Center. Ryan Van Dyke is the lead metallurgical engineer for Paulo. He earned a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology. He enjoys the wide variety of materials and processes he sees while supporting the six Paulo plants. Ben Gwinnell is a senior materials science and engineering student at the University of Connecticut. He is president of UConn’s Material Advantage chapter and Metalworking Club. He works in the experimental foundry at UConn and in the Frame Research Lab. Justin Smith is a first year Ph.D. candidate studying materials science and engineering at The Ohio State University. His research aims to characterize and understand fatigue crack initiation in highly textured magnesium alloys for automotive, aerospace, and biomedical applications. His passions include expanding access to STEM programs and careers to disadvantaged communities and students. Fuller Noll Glover Van Dyke Smith Rothleutner Gwinnell 4
