Williams, FASM, appointed a chair to each of the Society’s general committees and councils. All appointments were unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees. Terms began September 1, 2022. Congratulations to all of our ASM International leaders! Ms. Gee Abraham, STEM writer/editor, was appointed chair of the Volunteerism Committee. Ms. Beth Armstrong, FASM, senior research staff member, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, was appointed chair of the Membership Engagement Council. Dr. Steven Arnold, FASM, technical lead, NASA, continues as chair of the Core and Emerging Technologies Council. Dr. Punnathat Bordeenithikasem, technologist, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, was appointed co-chair of the Emerging Professionals Committee. Prof. Krishan Chawla, FASM, professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham, continues as chair of the International Materials Review Committee. Mr. Richard Colwell, chief engineer, Bechtel Corp., was appointed chair of the Technical Books Committee. Dr. Adam Farrow, manufacturing manager, Los Alamos National Laboratory, continues as chair of the Content and Data Products Council, and AM&P Editorial Committee. Dr Kip O. Findley, FASM, professor, Colorado School of Mines, continues as chair of the Action in Education Committee. Prof. Hanchen Huang, FASM, provost, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, continues as chair of the Emerging Technologies Awareness Committee. Mr. John Kuli, technology and innovation leader, (retired) Materion Corp., continues as treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee. Prof. Jeffrey C.
