All appointments were unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees. Terms began September 1, 2021. Congratulations to all of our ASM International leaders! Ms. Gee Abraham, STEM writer/editor, was appointed chair of the Volunteerism Committee. Dr. Steven Arnold, FASM, tech lead, Multiscale Mod- eling, NASA, was appointed chair of the Core and Emerging Technologies Council. Prof. Krishan Chawla, FASM, professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham, continues as chair of the Interna- tional Materials Review Committee. Mr. Daniel Denis, senior consultant and manager of vessels and internals, Structural Integrity Associates, was appointed chair of Chapter Council. Dr. AdamFarrow, manufacturingmanager, Los Alamos National Laboratory, continues as chair of the Content and Data Products Council, and the AM&P Editorial Committee. Dr. Kip O. Findley, FASM, professor, Colorado School of Mines, was appointed chair of the Action in Education Committee. Dr. Elizabeth Hoffman, FASM, director of innovation and university engagement, Savannah River National Labo- ratory, was appointed chair of the Awards Policy Committee. Prof. Hanchen Huang, FASM, dean of engineering and Lupe Murchison Foundation Chair, University of North Texas, was appointed chair of the Emerging Technologies Awareness Committee. Mr. John Kuli, technology and innovation leader, Mate- rion Corp., continues as treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee. Prof. Jeffrey C. LaCombe, associate professor, Univer- sity of Nevada, Reno, continues as chair of the Alloy Phase Diagram Committee.
