Those KPIs are: 1) Membership and Revenue Growth; 2) Improved Financial Health; 3) Demonstrat- ing and Deploying New Technological Competencies; and 4) Improved Support for the ASM Materials Educat- ion Foundation. To date, ASM membership has grown by about 2000 net new members, some 70% of whom are young indus- try professionals age 40 and under. Our total revenues have grown by an average of 9% per year over the three- year period. ASM is now operating on a cash-flow positive and nearly net revenue break-even basis. Thanks to an eight-fig- ure return on our Granta investment due to its 2019 acqui- sition by ANSYS, ASM is now debt free and has increased its portfolio by over 35%. The Operations Team is now working with the Board to decide how best to allocate these funds to benefit the organization over the 2020-2022 timeframe. ASM has now successfully crossed the digital divide after implementing a totally new eCommerce backbone, which showcases a new Digital Library. The Library now contains about 30% of ASM’s legacy content. This content has been totally reengineered into new XML and taxonomi- cal formats, so that it is discoverable, searchable, and acces- sible for subscribers via the internet. This implementation was accomplished on time and under budget and consisted of four new enterprise systems and seven major interfaces. The implementation was also accomplished without major disruptions to ASM operations. The balance of ASM’s legacy content will be reengineered and deployed into 2020. ASM reached a formal managed services agreement with the Foundation in 2018, and allocated $1M of the Granta proceeds to catalyze a new Foundation campaign, which will commence in 2020. If you have any questions about the results of the ASM Renewal, please contact me. I look forward to the next three years of continuous improvement, about which we will communicate in early 2020.
