Criteria for the Fellow award include: • • Outstanding accomplishments in materials science or engineering • • Broad and productive achievement in production, manufacturing, management, design, development, research, or education • • Five years of current, continuous membership Deadline for nominations for the class of 2020 is November 30, 2019. ASM Indian Institute of Metals Announces Recipients of 2019 ASM/IIM Visiting Lectureship The cooperative Visiting Lecturer programof ASM Inter- national and the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) is pleased to announce the individuals named to participate in the 2019 Visiting Lecturer program: Mr. Jon Tirpak, FASM, chief engi- neer, Sabattis LLC, and Prof. Ritesh Sachan, assistant pro- fessor, Oklahoma State University. The award includes an $800 honorarium to be used for travel expenses within India during the lecturer’s visit. ASM is also pleased to announce the distinguished individuals who have been named to par- ticipate in the 2019 ASM/IIM Visiting Lecturer North Amer- ican Program: Prof. Manojit Ghosh, associate professor, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, and Dr. C.S. Tiwary, assistant professor, and Ramanujan Fellow, Indian Institute of Technology. The award includes a $2000 honorarium to be used for travel expenses within the U.S. and Canada during the lecturer’s visit.
