All appointments were unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees. Terms began Septem- ber 1, 2018. Congratulations to all of our ASM Interna- tional leaders! Committee/Council chairs include: Dr. Raymundo Arroyave, associate professor, Texas A&M University, continues as chair of the Alloy Phase Dia- gram Committee. Dr. Lukas Bichler, associate professor, University of British Columbia, was appointed chair of the Canada Council. Prof. Krishan Chawla, FASM, professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham, continues as chair of the Interna- tional Materials Review Committee. Dr. James D. Cotton, FASM, technical fellow, Boeing, was appointed co-chair of the IMAT 2020 Conference & Exhi- bition Committee. Mr. Joseph DeGenova, technical sales representative, Ellwood Quality Sales, continues as co-chair of the Emerg- ing Professionals Committee. Dr. Alan P. Druschitz, associate professor, Virginia Tech, continues as chair of the Handbook Committee.
