Please join us in welcoming the following appointments. ASM Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society Lee Knauss, FASM, director, engineering and science, Booz Allen Hamilton, succeeds as president of EDFAS, while Zhiyong Wang, managing director, Maxim Integrated, remains on the board as immediate past president. James Demarest, International Business Machine, is appointed vice president, Martin Keim, engineering director, Mentor Graphics, is appointed finance officer, and Ryan Ross, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, is appointed secretary. Officers serve a two-year term. Felix Beaudoin, GlobalFoundries, is serving a two-year term as general chair of ISTFA. Renee Parente, business operations manager, Advanced Micro Devices, and C.T. (Tom) Schamp, princi- pal consulting scientist, Materials Analytical Services LLC, are appointed to the EDFAS board for a three-year term. Venkat K. Ravikumar, Singapore University of Technology and Design, is named student board member for one year.
