Following the over- whelming success of the first Heat Treat Mexico in 2016, this every- other-year event proved it can still bring in a crowd. The event, orga- nized by the HT Expositions Committee with assistance from the HT Mexico Chapter, exceeded expectations by attracting 208 total at- tendees and 44 exhibiting companies. The conference included two education courses, three days of technical programming, and two days of network- ing with exhibitors. Simultaneous translation services were offered, allowing all presentations to be given in both Eng- lish and Spanish. Attendees enjoyed spirited networking events including a Mexico Chapter reception, exhibit recep- tion, and a social event at the Balvanera Polo & Country Club with authentic music, food trucks, Charro show, and horseback rides. Another Heat Treat Mexico is being planned for 2020. 6 HTS president JimOakes (far left) with several HT Mexico presenters.
