Made with the new high performance precision components found in their Griffin series, this portable powerhouse offers an optional tough road case, making it ready to go to any test site as needed. All the user needs to do is to pop off the covers and get started. Whether it’s used for design verification, production, failure analysis, or single-event effects (SEE) testing, this powerful member of the HiLevel family takes advantage of all of the tried and true features that have served users so successfully. The lowcost ETS788XL supports test rates up to50MHz, clock rates to 100MHz, andprovides 5mV logic resolution. The user can control up to 256 bidirectional pins with 32 programmable timing generators, and can accom- modate a 4M test vector depth and 64M capture depth. The system also provides oscilloscope and curve tracer diagnostic functions to support troubleshooting. For more information, visit hilevel.com . Murata notes that as smartphones supporting 5G becomemorewidespread andmobile devices incorporate more functionswhile becoming increasingly compact, the demand for smaller andhigher density electronic circuitry is growing. Among the components employed in this cir- cuitry, multi-layer ceramic capacitors are essential for electronic devices and are used for a wide range of appli- cations such as in smartphones and wearable devices. As high end smartphones are equipped with approximately 800 to 1000 capacitors, there is considerable need for such components to be made even more compact. By using original ceramic and electrode material atomization and homogenization technology, Murata has achieved a mounting surface area approximately 50% smaller and a volume approximately 80% smaller than that of their conventional product (0.4×0.2 mm) with a capacitance of 0.1 μF. Moreover, the new product has a capacity of around10 times that of the same-sizedproduct initially mass produced by the company. VACUUM-RELEASE STORAGE AND SHIPPING BOXES The Gel-Pak product series is designed to protect and store sensitive devices and specimens during transport, processing, inspection, and assembly. In other Gel-Pak trays, devices can be loaded and removed using tweezers or by hand from the highly cross linked gel polymer. The degree of holding force of the gel depends on the tackiness of the gel material, which is called retention level. The gel material is strong in both shear and vertical directions, but weak in the peel direction, which allows parts to be easily unloaded from the gel surface. The new VR Series trays use a vacuum to release the specimens from the
